Overview
SF Achieve provides students in Alachua and Bradford County public high schools with robust mentoring opportunities right inside their high schools – coaching them on career exploration, time management, financial aid and more. That level of mentorship will continue after students enroll at SF, along with a stipend to cover the costs of their textbooks. Eligible students will also qualify for a full-tuition scholarship that picks up where financial aid leaves off, helping to pay for up to 60 credit hours at SF.
The Student Ambassador Program is a leadership opportunity for students who are dedicated to serving and representing BÌåÓý¹ÙÍøÈë¿Ú. Student Ambassadors provide campus tours, serve as an SF representative and perform duties at various SF campus and community events.
The Finish at the Top program provides outreach to students in order to assist them in the re-enrollment process so that they can finally complete their degree. The program connects these students with the resources they need to support their success at SF. Scholarships are available to those students who qualify.
On-Campus and Virtual Events
BÌåÓý¹ÙÍøÈë¿Ú holds a variety of events on-campus and online to connect prospective students with academic programs and college opportunities.
Our New Student Preview events are focused on helping incoming students prepare for the transition to college, and are held virtually several weeks prior to the start of a student's first semester. The event offers breakout rooms for conversations with Admissions Advisers, Student Ambassadors, Academic Coaches, and other SF representatives to prepare students for the upcoming semester. Preview Days will be held once a month during the summer, and registration is open now.
