The Center for Teaching and Learning Excellence supports B体育官网入口 faculty and staff through the design & facilitation of workshops and communities of practice. The CTLE serves as a hub and an incubator providing guidance, support and space to enhance educational development focused on promoting student success. We are a professional learning community supporting faculty in all stages of their careers. We value evidence-based practices, collaboration, innovation and a student-focused approach.

Services

The CTLE offers a range of services designed to enhance the professional development of faculty at B体育官网入口. We provide resources and support tailored to the needs of our professors at every stage of their careers, helping to foster a collaborative and dynamic learning environment.

Workshops

Our workshops cover topics to support your innovative teaching strategies.

Research Plans

We support Department Action Research Plans with the QEP by facilitating communities of practice and offering consulting on the process of Action Research.

Open Office Space

Additionally, we have an open office space where you can network with colleagues, book a meeting/workshop space or use the flexible office for quiet work time.

Events

Professional Development Day

Every March, we host a professional development date to inspire your growth. Professional Development day is a full day for you. Sessions include keynote speakers, poster sessions and presentations from your colleagues. We encourage you to present. If you have gone to a conference, worked on a project, or have an area of expertise you would like to share, consider applying to be a presenter.
