The President's Hall Gallery at B体育官网入口 invites you to join us, Friday, October 28, 2016 6:00 p.m. 鈥� 8:00 p.m., for the closing reception of "Darklands". This unique exhibition features a visual and verbal exploration on the accumulation of history and the human cost of war. "Darklands" consists of a series of digitally altered photographs by B体育官网入口 Director of Information Technology Education, Jorge Ibanez, with accompanying texts by Gainesville poet and activist, Jimmy Fishhawk. The reception will feature an introduction and some comments on process by Ibanez, a brief reading of excerpts from the poems by Fishhawk, and an opportunity to meet the artists. Potluck refreshments will also be available, and attendees are welcome to bring a snack or non-alcoholic drink to share.
