CENTRAL FLORIDA AVOIDS SEASON SWEEP, DEFEATS SANTA FE SAINTS BASEBALL 10-1

The College of Central Florida avoided a season sweep at the hands of B体育官网入口 by defeating the Saints in Gainesville 10-1 yesterday afternoon, April 11, 2016. B体育官网入口 swept a three game series to kick off Mid-Florida Conference play back in March. The loss drops B体育官网入口 to 35-6 and 16-3 in the MFC.
B体育官网入口 managed just one hit despite striking out only twice. B体育官网入口 starting pitcher Trent Johnson went five innings, allowing three runs on seven hits. Ricky Miranda tossed two innings, and Robert Girgis one inning. Cole Parks had the lone Saints hit. Central Florida finished with 13 hits as a team.
B体育官网入口 will have a chance to bounce back when they travel to Lake Sumter State College on Wednesday, April 13 for a 3:00 PM game.
