Gainesville, FL – The BÌåÓý¹ÙÍøÈë¿Ú Saints dropped their second consecutive game Monday afternoon in Tampa, this time to Hillsborough CC. The Hawks scored six late runs to pull past the Saints for a 9-5 victory. The loss moves SF to 2-3 on the season.
Connor Rooney started on the hill for BÌåÓý¹ÙÍøÈë¿Ú and surrendered three runs in 3.2 innings of work. Four relief pitchers allowed six runs, including four in the game deciding seventh inning.
SF shortstop George Ragsdale had a big game offensively, going 3-for-5 with two doubles, two runs, and one RBI.
The Saints will travel to Winter Haven on Wednesday, February 12 for a game against Polk State College at 5:00 PM.
