STEM Fest Continues

Join us for the second annual BÌåÓý¹ÙÍøÈë¿Ú STEM Fest-celebrating science, technology, engineering and mathematics at the BÌåÓý¹ÙÍøÈë¿Ú Perry Center for Emerging Technologies in Alachua. BÌåÓý¹ÙÍøÈë¿Ú students and area high schools are invited to display posters showcasing their accomplishments in the STEM disciplines.
Stem fest continues today with student posters available for viewing 8 a.m. – 8 p.m. Refreshments will be available at 6 p.m.. This event is open to the public.
A panel of speakers from BioFlorida will present at 6:30 p.m. on "Careers in Biotechnology." Speakers include:
- Dr. Gerry Shaw, Chief Executive Officer, EnCor Biotechnology, Inc.
- Dr. Mark Friedman, V.P. of Regulatory Affairs and Quality Assurance, Axogen, Inc.
- Dr. John Byatt, Assistant Director, Life Sciences, Office of Technology Licensing, University of Florida
