SANTA FE LOSES CLOSE GAME TO PALM BEACH, 78-75

Gainesville, FL – The BÌåÓý¹ÙÍøÈë¿Ú Saints (14-7, 3-0 MFC) dropped their second non-conference road game in a row on Saturday, falling to Palm Beach CC 78-75.  The Saints were without sophomore guard Tracie Sneed for most of the game after the exited the contest with an injury ten minutes into the action.

The Saints held a slight halftime lead, 40-39 but were unable to hang on down the stretch as Palm Beach pulled out the victory by four.

Lanita Bartley led BÌåÓý¹ÙÍøÈë¿Ú in scoring with 15 points, Demisha Mills had 13, Letiecia Davenport scored 12 and India Johnson had 10.

SF will get back to Mid-Florida Conference play on Saturday, January 23 when they host Daytona State College at 2:00pm
